Bobsledding is one of the fastest and most entertaining sports in the world. However, it is also one of the most expensive! In fact, estimates have been made that bobsled has the second-highest cost out of all the events in the Olympic Games, topped only by the monumental fees involved in the sport of Equestrian.
Each season, in order to compete every team in the world must raise the funds necessary to train, compete, get the fastest equipment and also cover the basics needs of life: food, shelter, travel, etc. |
As you can imagine our athletic dreams and goals cost quite a bit. We dedicate as much of our time and energies as possible to pursuing bobsledding, but monetarily speaking we come short.
